كشف المدرب البرتغالي جوزيه مورينيو، المدير الفني لنادي توتنهام هوتسبير، عن ما يدور خلف الكواليس من خلال المنشورات الساخرة التي بدأ مؤخرًا نشرها عبر حسابه الرسمي في “إنستجرام”.

مورينيو أرسل رسالة ساخرة عقب فوز فريقه على لودوجوريتس البلغاري في الدوري الأوروبي، مرفقًا صورة وهو يأكل نقانق: “عندما تفوز، ولكن لا تلعب بشكل جيد!”.

ثم بعد إصابة مات دوهرتي بـ فيروس كورونا “كوفيد – 19″، سخر من التوقف الدولي، وكتب: “أسبوع رائع وأمان تام!” (طالع التفاصيل).

وعندما سُئل عما إذا كان هو المسؤول الوحيد عن حسابه، قال مورينيو في تصريحات عبر هيئة الإذاعة البريطانية “بي بي سي”: “نعم، بالطبع”.

وأضاف: “لا أحب أنّ يكون الأمر برمته في يد أحد آخر، أحتاج إلى وضع الملح والفلفل على الأمر!، هذا واضح”.

وواصل: “ما حدث بعد مباراة بيرنلي، أعادني بالذاكرة إلى بداياتي كمدرب مساعد حيث قال لي مدربي حينها (لويس فان جال)، لا أريد لاعبين على هواتفهم!”.

وتابع: “بعد عشرين عامًا، نحن في موقف يكون فيه كل لاعب مع هاتفه بعد المباراة، من الطبيعي أنّ يكونوا كذلك وأنا أيضًا”.

وأتم تصريحاته قائلًا: “أعيش مع أجيال مُختلفة من اللاعبين، يجب أنّ تكون إحدى صفاتنا هي التكيف معها والتكيف مع العصر الجديد”.

Liverpool splashed out big last summer on a position that has plagued them for years, but just how good was Alisson Becker this season?

The Reds still have one match left to play, and it’s a pretty big one, but it’s fair to say that no matter what happens in Madrid the Anfield faithful’s opinion of Alisson will not change.

Signed for £66.8m, a world-record fee at the time, the Brazilian has become an integral part of the spine that has made Jurgen Klopp’s Reds a physically imposing force to be reckoned with, so we’ve reviewed his season with a focus on two very memorable moments.

Best moment of the season

There’s almost too many to choose from here. The finger-tip stop to deny Burnley late on at Turf Moor was stunning, and there is certainly an argument for his part in the 4-0 mauling of Barcelona at Anfield.

However, his Schmeichel-esque save to deny Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik in the final group game of the Champions League could be the deciding factor in ensuring the Reds don’t end the season trophyless.

Needing all three points to progress, the Reds’ defence lost Milik at the back post in the dying moments of the match with the score at 1-0. Alisson raced off his line, adjusted his feet, and made him self too big for Milik to squeeze the ball past.

If Klopp’s side overcome Tottenham to win number six in Madrid, this was the save that made it all possible.

Worst moment of the season

If there’s one criticism you could level at the ex-Roma shot-stopper, it is that he doesn’t quite seem to have adjusted to the pressure and speed of Premier League forwards.

Just a week after pulling off an audacious piece of skill against Brighton, he was caught napping at the King Power Stadium by Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho, resulting in a tense finish despite the Reds eventually winning 2-1.

It is not the only time he has set Liverpool hearts racing with a bit of showboating, and despite his excellent ball-playing ability this is something that must disappear from his game next season.

Final grade

Overall, Alisson has had a near-flawless debut campaign on Merseyside. Brazil’s number one led the league in clean sheets with 21, earning himself an A-.

He was 17th in the league in total saves, but led all goalkeepers in save percentage at 77.1%, showing that he is not just profiting from playing behind an excellent defence.

If the 26 year-old can keep his shot-stopping form while cutting out the occasional silly errors, there will be absolutely no debate that he is one of the world’s best.

وتابع: “سافرنا إلى توجو ومعنا كميات من المطهرات للوقاية من فيروس كورونا ووضعنا جدول للمسحات في معسكر منتخب مصر الأخير”.

وأضاف: “جهاز منتخب مصر خضع لمسحة كورونا أول أمس الأحد وجاءت نتيجتها سلبية”.

وأردف: “فعلنا كل ما بوسعنا حتى نستطيع السيطرة على أي إصابة بكورونا تظهر في منتخب مصر وتأخر إجراء المسحة لمنتخب مصر بعد الوصول إلى توجو كان أمر خارج عن إرادتنا”.

وواصل: “تدريب منتخب مصر يوم 9 نوفمبر الماضي تأخر لمدة ساعتين بسبب عدم ظهور نتيجة مسحات كورونا”.

وأكمل: “اتحاد الكرة لم ياخذ برأيي في حضور محمد صلاح لفرح شقيقه ولا اللاعب نفسه، و من الوارد أن يكون صلاح والنني وكوكا اصيبوا بالفيروس، قبل الحضور إلى مصر ونشط لديهم بعد الانضمام للمعسكر”.

وأستطرد: “المصابون بكورونا لم تظهر عليهم أى أعراض، ومحمد النني شارك في المران وظهر بشكل جيد للغاية ثم اكتشفنا اصابته بالوباء”.

ومن جانب آخر، أوضح: “كل ماأثير عن تشخيص إصابة طاهر محمد طاهر لاعب الأهلي اثناء معسكر المنتخب، غير صحيح، ومن قال ذلك، هم أشخاص (تقريبا جايين من كوكب أخر)، يحسسوني إني اسرائيلي، الأشعة تظهر التشخيص (ومش محتاجة فتاكة من طبيب المنتخب)”.

وأتم: “طاهر أصيب في ثاني أيام المعسكر وفورا خضع لأشعة ونحن لدينا أجهزة حديثة جدا وفعلنا كل شئ من أجله، وأرسلنا لطبيب الأهلي تشخيص حالته، انا شخصت حالته شد من الدرجة الثانية في العضلة الأمامية وأبلغت الأهلي أنه سيغيب 3 أسابيع”.

Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon this week prior to the Champions League final, per Football Insider.

What’s the word?

Spurs have not signed a player since the January transfer window in 2018.

But they are seemingly set to overhaul their squad this summer after finishing in the top four of the Premier League and reaching the European showpiece; they will play Liverpool on Saturday.

And the club are keen to tie up the signing of the teenager, who can play as both a full-back and a winger, this week.

The two clubs are in talks, per the report, over the structure of a deal and Spurs have tabled an offer worth in excess of £20million.

Spurs are said to be confident that there will be a deal to announce soon, though they may wait until after the game in Madrid to formalise it.

Sessegnon has a year left on his contract and made 38 appearances in 2018-19 as Fulham were relegated to the Championship.

A fast start, finally

Spurs have so often waited until the end of the transfer window to do deals like this.

That usually comes from chairman Daniel Levy haggling over the finer details of the deal in order to save Spurs a few quid, but here, it finally appears that signings will be secured early.

It works for manager Mauricio Pochettino, too, with the Argentine able to bed Sessegnon in slowly throughout pre-season and bring him up to speed with the way Spurs play, instead of having to shoehorn him in next term. It’s no coincidence that Heung-min Son, Fernando Llorente and Moussa Sissoko all took a long time to settle in north London after arriving in the final days of the summer window.

The Sessegnon situation though is a win-win; if this transfer comes off, this might be one of the best things Spurs have done this summer.

Tottenham have entered the race for Newcastle ace Ayoze Perez this summer, following reports that Napoli are also interested.

We’re not exactly sure how this has happened, but there are now apparently two major European clubs chasing the signature of Newcastle United’s Ayoze Perez.

The 25-year-old has been a long-term target of Napoli’s sporting director Giuntoli who has been following his progress for the majority of the season, and his stock has surely risen following the strong end to his campaign which saw him claim 13 goals and 4 assists in total.

Surprisingly, reports also claim that Inter Milan have been probing for the last few months, as well as Tottenham and Arsenal, and La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Valencia. We’d take this news with a pinch of salt, though.

While interest has been inexplicably flying in from all angles, as it often does in the chaos of the transfer window, it is the Spurs link that might excite Newcastle fans the most – by virtue of the fact that it appears most logical.

According to Calcio Napoli sources, Mauricio Pochettino is in the market for a new forward to potentially replace Erik Lamela, who could choose to leave the club this summer after managing just over 900 minutes in the Premier League. And, believe it or not, Ayoze Perez – the brunt of much frustration from Newcastle fans this term – is touted as the answer.

It is said that the offer given to Newcastle is around £28million, which is just about £28million too much. This isn’t the first time Pochettino has made a move for the Spaniard, after apparently lodging interest three years ago that was responded with a harsh “no”. And we’re absolutely sure Spurs fans are hoping the same response will be given this time.

Quite how anyone believes Ayoze Perez is up to the required standard of a title-chasing side is beyond us. Indeed, the strong end to the season he enjoyed may have made him look like an alright player, but fans would do well remember just how utterly average he was before. It’s one thing turning it on when the club need him the most, it’s another thing being consistent throughout the season.

We simply do not believe he can hit the necessary levels at Spurs, unless he pulls off a miracle like Moussa Sissoko – of course, but when does lightning ever strike twice?

وقال فينالدوم، في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية: “ليس لدي أي شيء أشكو منه حقًا، إنني أشكر الله على لياقتي البدنية هذه الفترة”.

وأضاف الهولندي: “آمل أن أتمكن من الصمود حتى نهاية الموسم، سيكون ذلك صعبًا للغاية ولكني واثق من ذلك”.

وعندما سُئل عن شكل التدريب الحالي في ليفربول، أجاب فينالدوم: “في الحقيقة الأمر يقتصر على خوض المباريات والراحة في الوقت الحالي، لا يوجد أي تدريب حقًا لأنه ليس هناك الكثير من الوقت لذلك”.

After Leeds failed in their bid for promotion last season, some of their star men have garnered interest from the top flight.

It’s been widely reported that Tottenham want to sign Jack Clarke, while Bournemouth and Norwich are reportedly interested in Kalvin Phillips.

Both players were brilliant last season, so it should come as no surprise that they are being looked at by Premier League clubs.

Another player who has been linked with a move away from Elland Road is Pontus Jansson. Years of good performances from the Swedish centre-back has led to many speculating that his time at the club is up.

The Whites will certainly struggle to hold onto all three of these players, but it’s hard to choose which individual would be the most important to keep.

“If they can, Leeds United will want to keep all three as it’s hard to choose which one out of the trio is the most important to them. However, keeping the youngest in Clarke undoubtedly makes the most sense. As well as promotion back to the Premier League next season, the Whites need to be thinking about the future and can’t get too sucked in looking at the short-term. Clarke is one of the brightest prospects in English football and he is vital to Leeds’ lofty ambitions.”

“Out of the three men in question then Jansson should be the choice to depart Elland Road this summer. He’s one of the most enigmatic members of the Leeds squad and if an offer comes in they’d be doing the right thing by accepting it. However, Clarke is clearly the priority here. Kortney Hause had a hugely productive loan spell at Aston Villa, helping them to achieve promotion from the Championship.

However, he could now be returning to the club as he looks set to leave Wolves in a £3m deal, per Express & Star. According to the same report, the Villans had an option to buy the player in the terms of his loan agreement.

The price tag is incredibly low despite his relatively unproven credentials and it is that aspect of the deal that Wolves fans are upset with.

Taking to Twitter to comment on the report, one supporter claimed the club should be looking to get £10m for the defender. Another fan suggested it seemed very low for someone of Hause’s age.

The 23-year-old seems to be a well respected figure at Molineux as a further supporter reacted by saying that left footed centre-halves were in high demand. One individual appeared to be bemused that Wolves were doing their Midlands rivals Villa a favour.

The versatile player featured in 12 games after arriving over the winter, starring at both centre-back and right-back. He was particularly impressive in the air, winning an average of 4.7 aerial duels per game.
