كشفت تقارير صحفية بريطانية عن المدرب المفضل لإدارة مانشستر يونايتد لخلافة النرويجي أوليه جونار سولشاير المُقال.

مانشستر يونايتد أعلن إقالة النرويجي سولشاير من تدريب الفريق بسبب النتائج المخيبة خلال الفترة الماضية بالدوري الإنجليزي، وآخرها السقوط برباعية أمس السبت ضد واتفورد في ملعب فيكاريدج رود.

النادي أعلن تعيين مايكل كاريك مساعد سولشاير ليكون مدربًا مؤقتًا للفريق حتى نهاية الموسم.

شبكة “سكاي” البريطانية، أكدت بأن الأرجنتيني ماوريسيو بوتشيتينو المدير الفني الحالي لـ باريس سان جيرمان، هو المدرب رقم ١ في ترشيحات النادي الإنجليزي.

وأشارت التقارير إلى أن مانشستر يونايتد لا ينوي التعاقد مع مدرب خلال الموسم وينتظر حتى الصيف لمعرفة إمكانية التعاقد مع بوتشي.

بوتشيتينو الذي تألق مع توتنهام وكان دائم التواجد أوروبيًا مع النادي اللندني وخسر نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا ٢٠١٩ ضد ليفربول، مستقبله غير مؤكد في باريس سان جيرمان مع النتائج المتذبذبة نظرًا لما يمتلكه من نجوم كبار على رأسهم ليونيل ميسي.

When asked if there was an injury to Costa and whether that was why he was not involved against Newcastle, Bielsa simply said: “No injury.”

This simple message highlights that at the moment Bielsa believes there are 18 better players than the winger who deserve a spot in the squad more than him.

He definitely has the quality to succeed, with his former manager Nuno Espirito Santos saying: “The first season we were in the Premier League, Helder was immense and had a huge impact on the team.

He’s a very talented player, but things happen naturally, players move from here to another place. It happens in football. Honestly, I’m delighted he’s showing his quality and enjoying his football.”

However this season has not shown his quality. The 26 year-old has scored twice, in ten appearances, and has only managed on average 0.9 shots and 0.7 key passes a game (WhoScored).

The player now knows that he has to perform better and more consistently when given the chance if he wants to be playing more for the club.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, former EFL marksman Dean Windass has dropped a bombshell about recently-appointed Sheffield Wednesday boss Tony Pulis.

The 62-year-old was appointed as Garry Monk’s successor a little over a month ago, but the ex-Hull City talisman believes he didn’t even want the job despite signing on the dotted line.

On Saturday afternoon, the Owls finally picked up their first win under Pulis, defeating Coventry City 1-0 at Hillsborough Stadium to move off the bottom of the Championship.

Although, his overall record thus far also reads three draws and five defeats.

Wednesday weren’t short on options as the likes of former player Nigel Pearson, ex-Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe and even old foe Danny Cowley were linked with the job.

Dejphon Chansiri chose Pulis in the end.

However, Windass claims the veteran wasn’t really keen on taking the helm in south Yorkshire…

He told FFC:

“The chairman obviously decided to have a change, to bring Tony Pulis in.

“I don’t think he really wanted the job, Tony, I think that there were other candidates, but obviously he ended up taking the job.

“It’s been a struggle, they’ve only won one game [under him].”

After defeating the Sky Blues, the Owls moved to within five points of safety, so evidently, there is still a lot of work to be done to salvage their place in the English second-flight.

Since relegation from the Premier League over 20 years ago, Wednesday have twice been relegated to League One but have seen a return within two seasons both times.

The last time coming in 2012 when Dave Jones guided the Yorkshiremen to a second-place finish under Milan Mandaric.

There are now just 26 matches left for Pulis to turn things around at Hillsborough.

Guilherme disse que jogar pelo Corinthians é a realização de um sonho. O meia-atacante assumiu a responsabilidade e já vislumbra até mesmo chegar à Seleção Brasileira.

– É um sonho de criança, sou do Maranhão (da cidade de Imperatriz) e tenho familiares e pessoas que sempre sonharam com isso. Também tem outros sonhos, como ir para a Seleção Brasileira, ir para um grande centro europeu. Tenho qualidade para isso, e a partir de agora só depende de mim – analisou Guilherme, que desconversou sobre o clube de criança.

– Hoje eu sou corintiano, com muito orgulho. Sou mais um louco para esse bando, sempre quis falar isso. O time de criança é só um detalhe – afirmou.

O jogador afirmou que as lesões ficaram no passado e que já está pronto para atuar. No entanto, ele estará fora da estreia do Corinthians no Paulistão, no domingo, contra o XV de Piracicaba, porque as inscrições se encerraram no dia 22.

– Eu me sinto bem, porque já vinha fazendo trabalhos físicos. No dia a dia a gente pega rapidamente a parte com bola, a parte física que é a mais chata e eu estou bem – disse.

واقترب عقد محمد النني مع آرسنال على الانتهاء في يونيو 2022، ولم يفاتح النادي الإنجليزي اللاعب المصري الدولي في أي مفاوضات تتعلق بالتمديد.

ولكن صحيفة “ذا أثلتيك” عبر موقعها الإلكتروني أن على الرغم من عدم مشاركة، محمد النني، مع أرتيتا ولكن المدرب الإسباني يفضل الإبقاء عليه حتى نهاية الموسم حتى يحافظ على خيار قوي على مقاعد البدلاء في خط الوسط وعمق الملعب.

هذا عكس ما تفكر فيه إدارة آرسنال التي قد تتحرك من أجل بيع اللاعب في يناير للحصول على بعض العوائد المادية بدلًا من تركه يرحل مجانًا في الميركاتو الصيفي المقبل.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Sheffield Wednesday legend Carlton Palmer has revealed what he’s heard about the vacant managerial role at Hillsborough Stadium.

The Owls are looking for their fifth manager in three years following the shock sacking of Tony Pulis just over a week ago, and the former midfielder believes that current caretaker boss, Neil Thompson, is going to get the gig for the remainder of the season.

Wednesday are now unbeaten in four matches as the 57-year-old has guided them to back-to-back Championship victories for the first time since December 2019.

Thai chairman Dejphon Chansiri laid into Pulis during a two-hour press conference, criticising his style of football and admitting it was a “mistake” to appoint him in the first place just days after his dismissal, via talkSPORT.

He will surely be pleased with the reaction since with Thompson in control as he begins the search for a new boss.

And Palmer has claimed that the long-serving Owls coach will get the job until the summer…

He told FFC:

“The shout, from what I’m hearing, is they’re going to give it to Thompson until the end of the season, which would be an easy fit for them because he’s going to do what he’s told.

“He knows the players, he knows about the players and they will run through a brick wall for him, and [they will] give him until the end of the season to just keep them in the division.

“You know, that’s the easiest scenario for the chairman.

“But if they kick on, and no disregard to Thompson, but he’s not the man who’s going to get them promoted to the Premier League.”

A decision will need to be made quickly as Pulis’ sacking couldn’t have come at a worse time.

Wednesday need reinforcements during the January transfer window and at the minute, they’re likely to be made without a permanent manager, which could spell trouble later down the line.

Which is also why the possibility of Thompson being appointed permanently makes a ton of sense.

But as Palmer says, the short-term fix isn’t necessarily the right one for the long run, and Chansiri could be back at square one come the summer.
