Enquanto enfrenta dificuldades para renovar o patrocínio master com a Caixa Econômica Federal, que acaba no próximo mês, o Corinthians está próximo de fechar com um outro anunciante para o seu uniforme. O nome da empresa é mantido em sigilo, mas deve ser anunciado nos próximos dias, quando as partes esperam celebrar o acordo.

Atualmente, além da Caixa, o Timão conta com outros dois patrocinadores no uniforme: a Minds Idiomas (manga) e a Alcatel (ombro). As costas e a barra da camisa, bem como shorts e meiões, seguem vagos.

O foco do marketing alvinegro agora passa a ser a manutenção da parceria com a Caixa. Obanco tenta reduzir o valor pago atualmente (R$ 30 milhões por ano), o que desagrada o Timão. As conversas estão emperradas há algumas semanas.

A estatal patrocina o clube de Parque São Jorge desde o fim de 2012. No ano passado, o Corinthians conseguiu um incremento no contrato, ao tirar a marca da empresa das costas da camisa sem alterar o valor recebido.

Outra prioridade do departamento de marketing do Timão, a venda dos direitos de exploração do nome da Arena Corinthians segue distante. Ano passado o clube esteve otimista quanto a um acerto, mas as tratativas voltaram à estaca zero. Atualmente, há conversas com algumas empresas, mas todas em estágio inicial.

Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin may be tempted by a move to Everton because he could ‘push for Europe’ at Goodison Park.

That’s according to former Sheffield United and Leeds goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking to Football Insider.

The lowdown

The Mirror reported earlier in July that Everton would swoop for Saint-Maximin as a replacement for Richarlison if the Brazilian was lured to Real Madrid.

They claimed Newcastle would demand £60million to part with a player who scored three goals and provided four assists last season.

That would represent a huge profit on the £16.5million they initially paid to bring him in from OGC Nice in 2019.

Everton, who finished 10th in last season’s Premier League, are now managed by former Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti.

Kenny expressed a concern that Newcastle would not be able to match Saint-Maximin’s ambitions.

And he predicted that Benitez’s prior relationship with Newcastle would give Everton an upper hand in any battle for his signature.

“Newcastle are a massive club but for me, they look like they are a team that’s just struggling to stay up every year,” he said.

“I’m sure Saint-Maximin wants to be pushing for Europe with a team like Everton. What a player he is.

“If Everton are interested then, with Benitez’s link with Newcastle, I’m sure it could be an option for him,” he continued.

“I’m sure they’ll be looking to go one step further and challenge again for Europe this season.”

The verdict

Look no further than the game against Burnley, when he came off the bench to engineer a season-defining turnaround by scoring one and making another, for an illustration of Saint-Maximin’s worth to Newcastle.

They must fight off any interest until the fate of their proposed takeover is clear. If it fails, it would probably worth be selling and reinvesting that huge sum of money.

But if it succeeds, Newcastle should be assembling a Europe-chasing squad of their own built around Saint-Maximin, who’s still only 24 years old.

ذكرت تقارير صحفية تركية، أن فريقي جالطة سراي وبشكتاش التركيان، يرغبان في التعاقد مع أحد لاعبي الزمالك في نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية القادمة.

وكان أحمد سيد زيزو، جناح الزمالك، قد تألق مع الأبيض خلال الفترة الماضية، والدولي المصري مطلوب لدىّ أكثر من نادٍ أوروبي، حيث يتواجد على رادار أندية فرنسية وسعودية.

جالطة سراي وبشكتاش يعانيان هذا الموسم في الدوري التركي، حيث يتواجد الفريق الأول في المرتبة الثالثة عشر بـ48 نقطة، بينما بشكتاش يتواجد في المركز السادس بـ58 نقطة.

زيزو كان انضم إلى الزمالك، قبل 3 سنوات، في يناير 2019 قادمًا من فريق موريرنسي البرتغالي، ولا يزال لديه عقد يمتد حتى 30 يونيو 2024.

زيزو هذا الموسم مع الزمالك شارك في 22 مباراة بالدوري المصري ودوري أبطال إفريقيا، وسجّل 12 هدفًا وقدم 7 تمريرات حاسمة.

نفى أمير مرتضى منصور المشرف على فريق الكرة بنادي الزمالك، وجود مشكلة في عقد أحمد سيد زيزو مع القلعة البيضاء.

وقال أمير خلال تصريحات عبر قناة “أون تايم سبورت”: “هي ليست مشكلة في عقده، لكن نحن رافضين فكرة الشرط الجزائي في عقد أي لاعب”.

وأكمل: “عقد زيزو ما زال يتبقى فيه 3 مواسم، وعندما يتم فتح باب القيد مرة أخرى سنتناقش في أمر هذا البند، لكن في هذا التوقيت أريد من اللاعبين أن تركز في الملعب”.

وأردف: “لا يوجد ناد في مصر يتم سؤاله عن التدعيمات غير الزمالك، أكيد سيكون هناك تدعيمات ولكن أريد أن يقف هذا الأمر حتى نهاية الموسم، وفي الأخر الكرة في ملعب اللاعبين”.

Michael Ball thinks Rangers target Joey Veerman would take his game to a new level by playing for Steven Gerrard.

Dutch midfielder Veerman is on Gerrard’s radar this summer with the club expecting he could cost up to £7m, and the former Liverpool captain is eager to bolster his squad ahead of a Scottish Premiership title defence.

Veerman made 35 appearances for Heerenveen last season and showcased his attacking capabilities by registering nine goals and 11 assists.

However, it appears the 22-year-old has fallen out with his current employers, with Veerman claiming to VI, via the Daily Record, that Heerenveen have potentially priced him out of a move to Rangers.

The Scottish champions face competition for Veerman’s services, with Italian side Hellas Verona also interested and a bid being lodged by an unnamed club.

Ball, who enjoyed a spell with Rangers and in Dutch football during his playing career, feels Veerman would be a promising signing by the Gers and understands why the Dutchman is eager to head to Ibrox and benefit from Gerrard’s guidance.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, Ball said: “The two clubs seem to be quite far away on the fee. It’s a huge opportunity if Rangers can get a guy in who seems to impress a lot of people.
