The impasse between BCCI and PCB is set to deepen further with the Pakistan board issuing a second public statement in as many days, insisting Indian board secretary Jay Shah “unilaterally” announced the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) calendar of events for 2023 and 2024 without informing the PCB.On Friday morning, the ACC had put out a media release rejecting PCB chairman Najam Sethi’s claim on Thursday that Shah, who is also the ACC president, had announced the ACC calendar for the next two years without keeping the PCB in the loop.By evening the PCB put out its own statement, via a Twitter post, stating the ACC Board, of which it was a part, needed to ratify the decisions taken by the Development and Marketing committees.
